If you are flying to Steamboat Springs on a major airline,* you will fly into the Yampa Valley Regional Airport (HDN) near Hayden, approximately 25 miles (40 kilometers) from the Steamboat ski area. We offer two types of service from the airport (see below).

All service is "door-to-door" to and from all locations within the Steamboat Springs city limits, including the ski area. An extra local taxi fare is charged for service outside the city limits.

Ground transportation from/to the Hayden airport is "flight dependent," meaning our service revolves around the arrival & departure of each flight.

         * American, Continental, Delta, Northwest, and United have flights into HDN during the ski season.

This is our standard ground transportation. We meet your flight upon its arrival and take you safely, comfortably - and economically - to your lodging.

The size & type of vehicle you travel in depends upon the number of people who have made advance reservations.

"Shared-ride" means that you share your ride with passengers going to multiple locations.

IMPORTANT NOTE: The vehicles we send to the Hayden airport to meet each flight's arrival are large enough to accommodate the number of people who have made reservations. You are strongly urged to make an advance reservation, since walk-up passengers are boarded on a space-available basis. If you don't have a reservation, we will get you to Steamboat, but you might have to wait until we can send another vehicle out to the airport. IMPORTANT DEPARTURE INFORMATION

Hayden airport security regulations require all departing passengers to arrive at least 90 minutes prior to the scheduled departure time (even more on Saturdays and Sundays). The pick-up times we establish for departures from your lodging in Steamboat allow for this, plus picking up other passengers, plus the drive time, plus the possibility of adverse road, traffic, and weather conditions. We want you to have a safe ride to the airport, and we want you to make your flight. The pick-up time assigned for your return to the airport is the result of our many years of experience and our knowledge of the area.

Please call us once you are comfortably settled in your lodging in Steamboat Springs to confirm your scheduled return pick-up time. We will need your exact location, including room or condo unit number - and a phone number in case we need to contact you.
